Reflecting on Six Years
When Spirit Philip started Spent Digital Labs in Ondo City in 2019, the vision was clear: build world-class software from Nigeria.
Six years later, we've shipped 50+ projects across Web3, mobile, eLearning, full-stack applications, and blockchain. We've trained over 1,000 developers through Spent Academy. We operate out of Ondo City, Abuja, and Grand Forks, North Dakota.
The vision hasn't changed. The scale of what we're building has.
Product, Not Just Services
Our next chapter is product-led. We're building software products owned by Spent Digital Labs — not just building for clients.
SpentAcademy is expanding to become the largest online developer training platform in West Africa by 2026.
Our automation pipeline tools will become a SaaS product for software studios globally — helping any team go from brief to proposal to shipping faster.
An internal venture studio for equity-based builds — products we co-own with founders rather than billing hourly.
Global Without Losing Local
We will always be a Nigerian company. It is foundational to who we are, how we think, and what we build.
But global is also in our DNA. Our clients span Nigeria, the US, the UK, and beyond. Our team is building infrastructure that competes with anything in the world.
We don't want to be the best studio in Nigeria. We want to be one of the best studios in the world — that happens to be headquartered in Nigeria.
An Invitation
If you're building something ambitious, we want to hear about it. If you're a developer who wants to work at the standard we hold ourselves to, reach out.
The best work is still ahead.
